TL;DR: Kuşadası taxi fares are fixed per car, so the cheapest
per-person ride is the fullest car. A group of 6–8 fits in one 8-seat Zafira Life; 9–14 take
two taxis in convoy. Agree the fare on WhatsApp before departure and the driver waits free at
the sights.
The seat math
Most taxis at any Turkish rank are sedans: 3–4 passengers. Squeezing 7 people into two sedans means two fares, two drivers to coordinate and someone always in the "other car". One 8-seater solves all three problems at once — one fare, one thread, everyone together.
Luggage: the honest version
- 8 passengers + cabin bags: comfortable in the long-wheelbase Zafira Life.
- 8 passengers + 8 large suitcases: physics says no. We split the group across our two cars — same convoy, still cheaper than three sedans.
- 6 passengers + mixed luggage: fits in either car; tell us the bag count and we send the right one.
A group day out of Kusadasi, step by step
- The evening before: WhatsApp the plan — headcount, hotel, where you want to go (Ephesus and the Virgin Mary's House, Şirince, the beaches of the Dilek Peninsula National Park…). We reply with the fixed per-car fare for the round trip.
- Morning: the car (or both cars) arrives at your hotel; luggage and child-seat needs already arranged.
- At the sites: the driver parks and waits at no extra charge — no watching the clock in a queue for a new ride.
- Evening: pay once, per car, cash or card on the in-car POS.
When your group is 9–14
You do not need a tourist bus with a microphone. Two taxis in convoy keep the group together with none of the coach logistics: door-to-door pickup at the hotel or port gate, flexible stops, and two local drivers who grew up on these roads. Because both cars are ours — we are brothers — the coordination happens between us, not through a call centre.
